One of UTBF's main projects is the development of high quality educational institutions, starting from basic education and extending on to the university level. The overall goal of this endeavor is to cultivate noble personalities while simultaneously producing educated people capable of making positive contributions to society.
So far the focus in the educational project area has been in Nepal. Nepal is a multi-racial society with a low literacy rate and an underdeveloped economic base. In order to substantively improve people's lives, education is a major key.
The Trungram International Academy
has been in operation since 1996. It is the first educational institution established by UTBF and has since earned an excellent reputation.
The Trungram Wisdom Scholarship
supports both children in the Trungram International Academy and some monks and nuns in completing their education.
