At present, one project is our top priority: working together with Dharmakaya in establishing meditation and retreat centers - Mahamudra Hermitage in New York State in the United States.
This hermitage will be key to the Fellowship in providing teaching and training in the precious Buddhist traditions. We expect it to bring tremendous benefit to people around the world.
As interest in Dharma and serious practice grows in the West, it is imperative that there be high quality retreat centers in North America.
Planning and architectural design of the hermitage are well underway. Once funds are in place and the building phase begins, volunteers will be the driving force behind its success.
As part of the whole project, on the other side of the globe, Lumbini Udyana Mahachaitya has the priority in construction over the retreat facilities.
