Charity and health projects
are an important part of the projects managed by the Foundation.
Among the charity programs, the Free Health Camp
in Nepal was started in 1997, with the participation of the best local doctors and nurses, selected students of TIA and some monks and nuns from the Sankhu Monastery. It gives assistance to people from remote and poor areas that lack medical care.
Emergency Relief
gives material, mental and spiritual help to the needy. It has brought timely help and comfort to people affected by natural disasters such as severe floods and earthquakes.
In the same spirit, the Taipei branch of Emergency Relief, established in 2002, has its own special projects including, but not limited to the above.
