One of the future projects is to establish a university under the guideline of Buddha's teachings.
It is the aspiration of His Eminence Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche to establish a high
quality university in the Himalayan regions where both ancient and modern education
will be pursued.
This is a vision of a competitive, practical and quality Buddhist
university that would contribute significantly to the efforts in reducing poverty and letting
Buddha's teachings shine in a place where the historical Buddha Shakyamuni was born and
Buddha's teachings and practice lineages used to flourish.
When the project materializes, the university would offer regular modern educational programs
as well as intensive Buddhist study courses in philosophy and meditation practice
for people from both local areas and other parts of the world.
